Role & Responsibilities
You work directly with the founders. The brief changes weekly: ops one week, sales the next, a product spike the week after. You start as everyone's force multiplier and finish as the owner of something that didn't exist when you started. Expect to:
- Take on whatever is most broken or most urgent: sales follow-up, partnerships, hiring loops, finance, internal tooling
- Sit in on the important meetings, then turn the decisions into actions and own the follow-through
- Run zero-to-one projects with the founders, then hand them off once they have a permanent owner
- Build the internal systems and processes that don't exist yet
- Translate fuzzy founder ideas into specs, decks, plans, and shipped work
- Find your edge: over a couple of weeks, you should know which function you want to own next and have the receipts to claim it
Who You Are
- High agency. Vague brief, ambiguous context, no roadmap, and you still ship.
- You write well. Clear emails, clear docs, clear decks. Communication is half the job.
- Sharp instincts on what matters. You don't drown in details that don't move the needle.
- Allergic to bureaucracy. If a process is in the way, you fix it instead of complaining about it.
- You don't wait to be told. You don't wait for permission. You don't wait, period.
- Generalist by choice. You've done two or three different things well and want exposure to the next five.
- Experience in high-intensity startup environments.
