The output of any company is the vector sum of the people within it.Elon Musk, to the OpenAI founding team, December 2015
Elon was describing the single most valuable thing in an organization: finding obviously brilliant people before the world notices them and bringing them together. The people brought in at OpenAI during that window went on to define the next decade of AI.
A decade later, Iterate is the layer that helps the best teams on earth find them, systematically.
Why we exist
Building the world's
greatest teams
The smartest people want to do their greatest work together. That is the pattern behind every technological leap of the past century, and none of the clusters that shaped the world was recognized as one at the time. Talent compounds when it is concentrated, and the institutions that concentrate it shape the era. The next decade’s clusters are forming right now, in rooms most people are not paying attention to. Iterate finds them, helps them find their people, and hopefully, will become one of them itself.

Bell Labs
The most productive concentration of scientific talent in industrial history. It invented the transistor, the laser, information theory, Unix, and C, with nine Nobel Prizes along the way.

Fairchild Semiconductor
The "Traitorous Eight" commercialized the silicon transistor and invented the integrated circuit. Their alumni founded Intel, AMD, Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, and dozens more. It is why the place is called Silicon Valley.

Xerox PARC
Invented the graphical user interface, the mouse, ethernet, the laser printer, and the first personal computer with windows. Steve Jobs visited in 1979 and built the Macintosh around what he saw.

PayPal Mafia
The early PayPal team fanned out and founded or funded Tesla, SpaceX, LinkedIn, YouTube, Yelp, Palantir, Affirm, and Founders Fund.
What we are building
Iterate is becoming the company with the deepest, most trusted relationship with the world’s best technical builders, especially the ones nobody has heard of yet.
